Shinrinyoku Path
Information
Shinrinyoku comes from Japanese and translates as ‘forest bathing’. What may initially sound like a modern wellness trend has been a recognised method for reducing stress and promoting health in Japan for many years – and is now also the subject of scientific research and widely valued around the world. Forest bathing is about consciously immersing yourself in the atmosphere of the forest and experiencing nature with all your senses. An experience that helps you slow down, relax and recharge your batteries.
1,000 metres of slowing down
Along our 1,000-metre-long Shinrinyoku Trail®, you’ll find various resting spots that invite you to discover the forest in a whole new way. Whether through hearing, touch, sight or mindful awareness – each station offers unique experiences of nature.
Our little forest visitors won’t miss out either: SiSu and his friends will guide you playfully through the individual experience stations, ensuring fun, adventure and exciting discoveries along the way.
