We, the Touristische Unternehmung Grächen, attach great importance to co-operation with regional partners. Whenever possible, we work closely with producers from the Upper Valais. This is also the case with the Atelier Manus Foundation, with whom we were able to realise several exciting projects last year. We were therefore all the more delighted to welcome the Atelier Manus team from the Visp site to Hannigalp in October.
This private foundation promotes the professional and social integration of people with disabilities. ‘Manus’ comes from the Latin for “hand” and symbolises craftsmanship, help, protection and work. The motto of the Atelier Manus Foundation is: as much support as necessary, as little as possible. Key factors in the daily work are appreciation, meaningful tasks and the greatest possible autonomy for each individual. The foundation now employs 200 people and offers a wide range of high-quality products and services.
To our great delight, the Visper team from Atelier Manus decided to spend their company outing in Grächen. Once they arrived, they took the cable car directly to the Hannigalp - it was time to breathe in the mountain air. Everyone enjoyed the traditional Valais aperitif on the Matterhorn terrace with breathtaking views of the Grächen mountains, including the Matterhorn. After the first lively discussions, the guests moved into the Matterhorn Hall and the catering team from the Hannigalp family mountain restaurant treated them to the finest culinary delights. After a delicious lunch, it was time to head out onto the large playing field in the glorious sunshine for an afternoon of KOOR Alpine Games - the ideal team-building activity! Time flew by and in the late afternoon, 15 beaming faces made their way back to Visp - many of them certainly not for the last time in Grächen...
A huge thank you to the Atelier Manus team for this unforgettable day!
Plan your company event (company outing, conference, team event, workshop, etc.) on the Hannigalp.
