From the crossroads below the valley station, trudge up the slightly ascending road through the wintry mountain village. This easy hike leads you to the chapel on the Egga. Stop here and enjoy the view of the fascinating mountain scenery and the Matterhorn. Continue along the road through the idyllic winter forest to Bärgji.
From Visp you take the train to St. Niklaus. There you change to the bus, which gets you to Grächen every half hour. On weekends a direct bus operates from Visp to Grächen.
