The gently ascending hike begins in the center of the village of Grächen and follows the paved road over the sunny section Egga. A few meters past the chapel at Egga near the small-caliber shooting range, the path continues to the right, gently ascending to the Kneipp facility Taa. Then follow the trail markings to Bärgji.

From Visp, take the train to St. Niklaus. There, transfer to the PostAuto, which brings you to Grächen every half hour. On weekends, a direct bus runs from Visp to Grächen.
