Follow the signpost from the village centre to the idyllic Grächner See lake. Your winter hike takes you along the mountain lake, which is slumbering in winter, and continues slightly uphill to Alpe Äbnet. Follow the hiking trail through the romantic winter forest until the signpost on the left leads you to the road. The circular trail leads you past the Egga Chapel, where you can catch an excellent view of the four-thousand-metre peaks of the Weisshorn and Matterhorn. The slightly descending road brings you back to the village centre.
