The 1st National Mascot Festival in Grächen was a complete success! After the festival had to be postponed by a week due to bad weather, 2024 mascots from all over Switzerland flocked to Grächen on 30 June to take part in this unique event.
Grächen's snowbird "SiSu", which had been given a new look in recent months, was particularly in the spotlight. The festival marked the spectacular resurrection of "SiSu" in the presence of numerous families who were carried away by the cheerful atmosphere.
The supporting programme offered visitors a variety of entertainment, including the mascot parade, fun games, the mascot day dance and a public vote. The all-day cheerful atmosphere made for smiling faces and unforgettable moments.
Another highlight of the festival was the presentation of the challenge cup for the public's favourite. In an exciting competition, "Lio", the mascot of EHC Visp, beat off stiff competition to take home the coveted trophy.
The 1st National Mascot Festival in Grächen made many children's eyes light up. We would like to thank all participants and visitors for making this unique event an unforgettable experience.
