Kalpetran Enduro

Distance 12.85 km
Duration 0:58 Hours
Difficulty hard

Information

First take the PostBus from Visp to Moosalp. The route begins right by the Restaurant Moosalp and leads through an initial three-kilometre stretch over a relatively flat and wide hiking trail towards Alp Pletsche. There is an unforgettable view of the imposing four-thousand-metre peaks of the Saas and Mattertal valleys to enjoy along the way. Shortly before Alp Pletsche, the trail forks to the left and the freeride fun begins. The first stretch of the trail is both varied and steep, and you should exercise caution on exposed sections. The next stretch leads through winding, exposed and rocky terrain to Kalpetran via Gufersch Bodo. The technically challenging sections and tight corners on this second part of the trail offer plenty of excitement, but should present no problems for experienced riders. Once you arrive in Kalpetran, you have the option of continuing on to the Visp-Zermatt connecting trail (No. 150).
