From Hannigalp, hike uphill past the small chapel and follow the trail to the right over the ridge to the other side of the mountain. This tour offers you fantastic views of the beautiful mountain scenery. The next section of the trail takes you a few hundred metres downhill into the Saas Valley to Eisten.
From Visp you take the train to St. Niklaus. There you change to the bus, which gets you to Grächen every half hour. On weekends a direct bus operates from Visp to Grächen. Find full timetable information at www.cff.ch.
