Moderate hiking route for young and old. At the Furggen viewpoint, you have an excellent view of the fantastic mountain panorama. The adventure circular trail leads through larch forests, over roots and stones, and with some luck, you will encounter ibexes and chamois.

POI details

This route starts from the Hannigalp mountain station and leads you uphill to the small chapel. You follow the trail along the high path to the Furggen junction. Always continue uphill following the trail to the Furggen viewpoint. Along Furggen, you hike downhill to Stafel and then continue through the refreshing larch forest back to the Hannigalp mountain station.

From Visp, take the train to St. Niklaus. There, transfer to the PostBus, which takes you every half hour to Grächen. On weekends, a direct bus runs from Visp to Grächen.
