Discover the floral splendor on the Jungen - Jungtal hiking trail. With the St. Niklaus-Jungen cable car, this alpine flower trail is easily accessible from the mountain station. Over 80 signs describe the alpine flora with photos and text. You will experience a diversity of species that unfortunately no longer occurs very often. Enjoy the magnificent mountain world amidst several four-thousanders.

From the mountain station of the St. Niklaus - Jungen cable car, high above the Mattertal, your path leads you past the lake. You follow the trail on the left uphill through the larch forest towards Jungental. Soon you reach the forest edge and walk along the marked path past the "flower signs." Your gaze wanders through the beautiful nature, and you stop at the information boards. Despite the ascent to about 2350 meters above sea level, you hardly notice how time flies. Enjoy the fantastic mountain backdrop with views of the high peaks and, of course, the plant world.
