This challenging route initially ascends from the village square to the entrance gate of the Suone Chilcheri. You cross the paved road leading to the lake twice before following the signposts at the edge of the forest through the gate. The route takes you steeply uphill through the refreshing larch forest and over scree fields before the increasingly barren landscape leads to the Seetalhorn.
