Your route starts at the village square and leads you along the paved road past the base station of the Hannigalp cable car, gently ascending toward the chapel at Egga. Shortly before, you leave the road and follow the hiking trail signs to the left. You hike along the mountainside past lush meadows and follow the route into the refreshing larch forest up to Hohtschuggen.
