From Hannigalp you hike ascending past the children's playground and the Härdera through the refreshing forest towards Stafel. At the Stafel bar, you first follow the left turn, then follow the signpost to the right. This path leads you above the tree line over rocky gravel paths into the Seetal by the Seetalhorn mountain station.

From Visp you take the train to St. Niklaus. There you transfer to the PostBus, which takes you to Grächen every half hour. On weekends there is a direct bus from Visp to Grächen. Detailed timetables for trains and PostBuses can be found at sbb.ch.
