Built in 1897, the walls tell exciting stories! Even after the renovation in 2014, the friendly hosts of the "Walliserkanne" Sara and Hannes Schalbetter remain absolutely true to the motto "homely and hospitable"! Both are lending a hand and the next generation is already in the starting blocks. The "little ones" have the host blood in them and are growing into restaurant life. The "Walliserkanne" stands for a cosy, contemporary ambience, a very warm atmosphere, top-class food and, very importantly, excellent wines. 

The dynamic host is also a passionate hunter. So there is also a game dish or two... If you love culinary surprises, this is the place for you. Unexpectedly & surprisingly, the finest meat dishes, traditional Valais dishes or vegetarian delicacies come out of the kitchen, all freshly and creatively prepared.
