Information
The Joophobel Museum exhibits more than 400 woodworking tools, which were collected by the museum founder Joop Colijn all over the world over roughly 25 years. Unusual objects from five centuries, such as a more than two metre long water pipe drill or the world’s only preserved foot-operated band saw that last stood in Bürchen, are exhibited in an innovatively designed Valais storage hut. The collection is one of the most complete and richest of its kind. Adults and children can experience it up-close by working on wood using the equipment themselves.
Opening hours by arrangement.
