POI details

The demanding King's Route leads uphill from Hannigalp and carries your feet over gentle earthy as well as rocky paths. The exciting route guide leads you via Chleini Furgge towards Stafel. There are stops at play huts up to Heidnische Tossu. From there, continue downhill to the Lowizig play hut and past viewpoints back to Hannigalp. This varied hike along the game trail with playhouses and a play station also offers you breathtaking views of the surrounding mountain scenery. With some luck, you may encounter wildlife.

From Visp, take the train to St. Niklaus. There you change to the PostBus which takes you to Grächen every half hour. On weekends, a direct bus runs from Visp to Grächen. Detailed timetables for trains and PostBuses can be found at sbb.ch.
