POI details

Your tour starts at the village square and leads you on the asphalt road past the valley station of the Hannigalp cable car, slightly uphill towards the chapel on the Egga. Shortly before you leave the road, follow the hiking trail signs to the left. You hike along lush meadows and follow the trail to Bärgji. If you continue on the path after the sharp right turn to the Bärgji-Alp restaurant, you will return to the village following the road.

From Visp take the train to St. Niklaus. There you change to the Post Bus which takes you to Grächen every half hour. On weekends, there is a direct bus service from Visp to Grächen. Find full timetable information at www.cff.ch
