Since his transformation, our favourite snowbird SiSu has made lots of new friends. You'll meet SiSu and his friends everywhere during your stay in Grächen. So keep your eyes and ears peeled and get to know SiSu and his funny friends!
SiSu's transformation
SiSu was quiet for a long time. Where has he been hiding? Well, SiSu was sad and lonely in the forest. One day, at the 1st National Mascot Festival, he met Läx the squirrel. Läx was in trouble and needed SiSu's help. In return for his help, SiSu received a magic nut, which transformed him into a colourful and cheerful snowbird.

SiSu visits
SiSu loves playing with children and taking photos. That's why he always slips out of his nest to visit you when there are lots of children in Grächen. He also likes to give away his favourite sweets or autograph cards!

You'll find oversized SiSu figures all over the village and on the Hannigalp. These are perfect for a souvenir photo. How many of them can you find?
SiSu's Friends gondolas
In future, there will be more and more special gondolas featuring SiSu and his friends, where you can listen to their stories. The gondolas are beautifully decorated, so you can't miss them. Have you ever ridden in the SiSu & Läx gondola?
SiSu's Friends Collection
So that you can take home a souvenir of SiSu and his friends, we have developed the ‘SiSu's Friends Collection’. The collection consists of T-shirts, postcards, stickers and wooden marbles from SiSu and his friends and is available in the Grächen Shop in the Tourist Office. New SiSu's friends are added to the range every summer and winter season - perfect for collecting!
SiSu is planning something new!
SiSu has come up with something very special for summer 2025. He hasn't told us much yet, but he's planning something new on the Hannigalp. So don't forget to visit the Hannigalp next summer!
