Wildlife watching
The Swiss landscape is as diverse as the wildlife that inhabits it. Early in the morning, when the mountains are slowly awakening, you have the best chance of spotting wild animals. Accompanied by a local gamekeeper, you will explore exclusive spots where chamois, marmots and ibexes can be found. You will also learn more about the native animal species and how to behave when observing wildlife. Afterwards, you can enjoy a hearty breakfast in the family-run Hannigalp mountain restaurant.
The meeting point is every Wednesday at 6.10 a.m. (from September at 7.10 a.m.) at the Thalstation ramp. The train departs at 6.15 a.m. (from September at 7.15 a.m.).
Registrations are accepted until 12 noon the day before at the Tourist Office or at graechen.ch.
Minimum number of participants: 4 people, minimum age 7 years.
