Mountain Music Festival

The first edition of the Mountain Music Festival offers a unique experience that combines the natural beauty of the Alps with the magic of music. From September 19 to 21, the idyllic village square of Grächen will be transformed into a lively center of brass music.

Friday, September 19: Concert by the Mountain Music Festival Orchestra
Under the inspiring direction of Christoph Walter, the audience can look forward to an impressive program that celebrates the high art of brass music. The musicians will present a varied repertoire ranging from traditional melodies to modern arrangements.

Saturday, September 20: Performance by the Christoph Walter Orchestra
Another highlight is on the program on Saturday: the Christoph Walter Orchestra is expected to present the various facets of brass music. Under the motto "Diversity of sounds", the musicians will perform together with two to three other live acts from the region. This combination will allow the audience to enjoy a very special musical experience that reflects the different styles and traditions of brass music. The inclusion of musicians from the Upper Valais, who (together with the Christoph Walter Orchestra) will create a unique overall performance, will be particularly exciting. The audience can look forward to overlapping harmonies and exciting musical interactions.

Sunday, September 21: Matinee concert and conclusion of MMF 2025
The last day of the festival begins with the Dorfspatzen Oberägeri. The Dorfspatzen Oberägeri stand for everything you can expect from a brass band. And even more for everything you wouldn't expect. The Innsbrucker Böhmischen offer brass music at the highest level - music in perfection - melodies for the heart and soul and form the conclusion of the Mountain Music Festival. Enjoy our rich Sunday brunch and a colorful mix of performances awaits the visitors, which once again puts the talents and commitment of the musicians in the spotlight. Sunday offers an opportunity for all participants to celebrate the communal spirit and passion for brass music before the festival draws to a close with a festive finale.

The MMF Brunch offers a unique opportunity to combine pleasure for the palate and the ears! Tickets for the MMF Brunch on Sunday can be purchased directly on site

You can get to Grächen by public transport or by car. Parking is available in the Millegga parking garage.
