The Mixed Choir Grächen is one of the five choirs under the direction of the successful conductor Hansruedi Kämpfen. He is assisted by Renate Kalbermatter, the former conductor of many years. Every year, the choir delights audiences with an exciting repertoire of sacred and secular songs. In addition to many church festivals and masses, the choir was also one of the few choirs from the Upper Valais to perform at the cantonal singing festival in Martinach last year.

Last December, the five Kämpfen choirs successfully performed a contemplative Christmas gala in three concerts in the Kollegiumskirche in Brig to mark Hansruedi Kämpfen's 70th birthday.

The annual concert of the Grächen Mixed Choir, which attracts numerous choir lovers, is the highlight of the association's year and has also been performed in the concert series in Albinen. Once again this year, the choir presents a new, varied program of classical, musical and pop music, including Swiss dialect songs, Austrian folk songs and African songs. An instrumental ensemble with the well-known pianist Roberto Olzer from Italy will skillfully accompany the singers. You can look forward to an unforgettable musical experience.
