Grächen is known as much for its traditional events and customs as it is for new and original events and experiences. One such experience was created in spring 2023 as part of the first Snowspring Open-Air. Not only the location of the festival site, but also the mix of national and international music and culinary delights together create a unique and exuberant festival atmosphere.
When selecting the acts performing, it is important to us to live contrasts, offer variety and create maximum entertainment on stage. We look beyond national borders, but without excluding our Swiss music scene. Dodo travelled from Zurich on his hippie bus and was the first artist to get the fans in the mood. Immediately afterwards, the Swedish rock band Royal Republic really heated up the festival site. They infected everyone with their powerful performance. The absolutely successful premiere will be remembered fondly.
The atmosphere at the second Snowspring Open-Air was even better. The Valais boys from Them Fleurs spread fun and joie de vivre with their pop-rock songs. Annie Taylor exuded a huge amount of live energy with their mixture of grunge and alternative rock, creating a captivating and intoxicating atmosphere. When Manuel Felder's unmistakable voice rang out, even the last festival-goers were moved. The unmistakable folk-pop songs of The Gardener & The Tree created an inseparable bond with the audience. The highlight of the evening was the doped beats and hypnotising performance by Glasperlenspiel. They really fired up the audience with their electropop at its finest. The audience thanked them by enthusiastically dancing along and singing at the top of their voices.
