Kapelle Egga
Information
Built by the municipality in 1852/56, this typical Valais chapel is dedicated to the Virgin Mary. The interior is decorated with a Baroque altar from around 1740 and two 18th-century paintings of the Last Judgement. In front of the historic Egga Chapel, you can enjoy a fantastic view of the impressive mountain scenery – including the Mischabel group with the Weisshorn and even the Matterhorn.
