With a view of the fantastic mountain scenery, you start your route from Hannigalp downhill in the direction of the Paradiesli ski lift and hike right through the refreshing larch forest. After about 500 metres downhill, you will arrive at the Hohtschuggen restaurant and vantage point. The way back leads you from the forest path along a gravel path past the valley station of the Bärgji lift to an asphalt road that takes you back to the village past the chapel on the Egga.

From Visp take the train to St. Niklaus. There you change to the Post Bus which takes you to Grächen every half hour. On weekends, there is a direct bus service from Visp to Grächen. Find full timetable information at www.cff.ch
